Very important is a road loss of third ranked BelgianKangoeroes (11-4) against eighth ranked Dutch Den Bosch (10-5) on Tuesday night. Visiting Kangoeroes were defeated by Den Bosch in Den Bosch 86-75 . Den Bosch outrebounded Mechelen 37-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. Den Bosch looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian guard Keevan Veinot (193-1998, college: Dalhousie) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Forward Luuk Van Bree (203-1996, college: Bradley) accounted for 18 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Center Seppe Willems (202-1999) came up with 21 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American point guard Joshua Heath (186-1994, college: Georgia Tech) added 12 points and 11 assists respectively for Mechelen in the defeat. Four Mechelen players scored in double figures. Den Bosch have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending Dutch champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Mechelen at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost.
